Case of the Month – Implant placement with interesting incidental radiographic findings
January 19, 2021Case of the Month – Large cyst anterior mandible
June 14, 2021Case of the Month – Invasive Cervical Resorption
CBCT Scanner: Kavo OP3D
Scanning Protocol: 5cm x 5cm FOV; 0.2 voxels
Effective Dose: 0.005 mSV
Clinical information: ECIR LR6: extent of destruction?
Radiographic Impression:
Presence of invasive cervical resorption with possible bone replacement on the mesial aspect of 46, the impact point is at the level of the CEJ, the lesion is reaching the pulp chamber in a horizontal direction. In a vertical direction, the most apical aspect of the lesion is 1 to 2 mm inferior to the alveolar crest.
