“ I asked for a full receipt for the cost of the scan (£109) and was told that it had already been sent by email. However it has not been received . I need a formal, detailed receipt to be able to reclaim costs from my medical insurance.

“ Other online reviews that I had read in advance of my visit had prepared me for the absence of a receptionist upon arrival at the Nottingham branch, so that didn't throw me; and if that's a way of reducing costs to the patient, I applaud it. Signposting made it plain that I should simply take a seat and wait to be called. That said, at £175.00 a shot, I wonder how much more it would have been had there been a greeting on arrival!
The radiologist was great - a knowledgeable lady who had a lovely, friendly, calming manner. She explained very clearly the 40-second procedure and had a light, friendly, touch whilst remaining professional throughout.
Simple, straight-forward procedure - the only pain suffered was by my wallet. �
