“ Visited Colchester. Very pleased with the service and the people I met. Would happily recommend.
However, a suggestion. Drove 50 miles to get there without a problem but had trouble locating your site even after driving past a couple of times. Called the number you give and kind individual managed to find me a number for the Colchester site. Perhaps my problem but I’d consider better description of the unit’s signage and a direct phone number in case needed. No real problem but a suggestion. �?

“ The gentleman at reception at CT was very agreable, super nice. i had my two little kids with me - they were noisy and energetic and he even tried changing the channel for a cartoon so the kids would enjoy. he was nice, welcoming, kind and professional! wish i could have had his name to let you know. we were there tuesday Aug 24th 2021 around 2:30pm.

“ Staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful. Four things you could do to help visitors (some of these will be due to Covid restrictions so not long term)
1) The referral from my Dentist lists the address as "Varsity Medical Centre", the sign on the Building of course says "Bournbrook Varsity". Not a big deal but your eye is drawn to the 1st word so i drove straight past and missed the car park entrance. not helped by me being distracted by the Dental practice directly opposite which I thought might be the right place.
2) Instructions on Parking (again on my referral) are not clear as to whether i need to call the number in advance to book parking or if just required on arrival in order to open the gate. I found a street parking space easily enough so didn't attempt to use the car park but it looked like it had the usual voice intercom. Does this not work? just being clearer on the do's and don'ts in respect of parking would be helpful
3) there is only one door on the Alton Rd side of the building so by simple process of elimination that is the door I used. it doesn't look like an entrance however. nothing shouts "here is the way in". Limited options based on Building architecture but a simple "entrance" sign on the brick wall would make things more obvious
4) when arriving on the 2nd floor it wasn't clear where reception was. if there was signage I missed it. maybe there is obvious signage and i was just half asleep but it required staff in the office nearest the entrance to point me in the right direction. if their door had been closed with a patient i would have been scratching my head
not wishing to sound critical as my visit was perfectly satisfactory. i thought you might appreciate a bit more detail on the Visitor experience and ideas on simple improvements. many people are nervous about dental procedures (not that you are doing dentistry) or visiting unfamiliar places so making it as easy as possible for people to find their way to their appointment would alleviate stress levels �?
